So I have recently discovered I have a slight addiction to Benefit Cosmetics... On a recent trip back home to the UK I splurged on Benefit products that I "really really needed"... I also had a makeup tutorial in their Covent Garden boutique which was super fun. Needless to say, I have quite a few Benefit reviews coming your way, starting with the product that was being overly advertised in every cosmetic shop on Oxford Street...the they're real! push-up liner.
Now I absolutely luuurve the they're real! mascara (review soon) so I thought I would give this a try. Hmm... I was being "clever" and decided to try it out in Boots where I had been accosted by a Benefit staff member. I have never been great with liquid eyeliner so I was a little bit aprehensive. How wrong I was, this eyeliner was so easy to use and gave me an almost perfect line (no flick - one line at a time :). I was sold!
Happy with my purchase I trundled home, not knowing I would never be able to recreate that look again. I have had this liner for about 2 months now and I still have not been able to get any kind of decent line with it. I can never get the flick right, and I find that by the time I have done both eyes, if I try to correct anything the applicator takes off whatever product is there! Sooo frustrating!
So I'm afraid my they're real! push-up liner has to go in my "ugh why!" drawer and live with my shimmery eye pallettes that I also thought were a good idea.
